We took on the challenge of redesigning the brand identity for the UK’s largest online beer retailer.
We brought Beer Merchants’ heritage into focus with a fresh, contemporary design that respects its roots. The new identity balances character and clarity, meeting the expectations of today’s more design-literate drinkers without losing what made the brand distinctive.

Crafting a Frictionless Beer Discovery Journey
The beer discovery journey was crafted to be smooth and engaging, allowing users to easily explore their favourite brews alongside exciting new varieties. With an intuitive filtering system where you can browse by beer type, country of origin, tasting notes, and more, customers can quickly find the perfect pint. The experience feels tailored to the user from start to finish.

Inspiration
Crafted Like a Beer Label
As a consumer-facing site, we felt it was important to draw inspiration from brewery websites and beer label design. The visual direction needed to feel refined and confident, presenting the brand as modern, well-established, and clearly distinct from the generic aesthetic of mainstream online retailers.
